Our Classes
Spotlight Dance Studio offers a wide variety of classes ranging from 21/2 years old to Adults! All classes run September through Recital in June. All age cut-offs are by December.

This class is designed to teach basic movement & rhythm, improve motor skills and allow our youngest students to interact with each other in a fun social setting. Class is 45 minutes and is broken down into tap, ballet and tumbling.

Rising Stars- 2.5 - 3 years old
Combo 2- 4-5 years old
Introduction to basic-intermediate dance terminology, choreography, dance etiquette, and creative movement. Small props such as bells, maracas, and scarves are an addition to class to continue movement, rhythm & motor skills. Class is 1 hour and is broken down into tap and ballet. Combo 1- 3-4 years old
Introduction to basic dance terminology, choreography, dance etiquette, and creative movement. Small props such as tambourines, maracas, and magic wands are an addition to class to continue movement, rhythm & motor skills. Class is 45 minutes and is broken down into tap, ballet and tumbling.
Combo 3- 5-6 years old
Introduction to intermediate dance terminology, choreography, dance etiquette, and technique. Props are used in this class to continue to develop movement and rhythm. Class is 1 hour and is broken down into tap, ballet, and hip-hop.

Level 1- 6-7+ years old
This class focuses on intermediate dance terminology, performance choreography, and a strong foundation of dance technique. This Class is 1 hour and 30 min and is broken down into tap, ballet, and jazz. See misc for more offerings!
Junior- 12-14 years old
This level focuses on intermediate - advanced dance terminology, performance choreography, and a strong foundation of a wide variety of dance technique. There are 6 classes offered at this level; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop, Lyrical and Pre-Pointe. All classes are 1 hour with the exception of Pre-Pointe, which is invitation only. This class focuses on intermediate dance terminology, performance choreography, and a strong foundation of dance technique. There are 2 classes offered at this level; Level 3 Tap which is 1 hour of tap dance only, and Level 3 Comboination which is a combination of both HipHop/Jazz and Ballet within 1 hour. Level 2/3/4- 8+ years old
Teen- 13+ years old
This level focuses on advanced dance terminology, performance choreography, and a strong foundation of a wide variety of dance technique. There are 6 classes offered at this level; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop, Lyrical and Pointe. All classes are 1 hour. See misc for more offerings!
Senior- 15+ years old
This level focuses on advanced dance terminology, detailed performance choreography, and a strong foundation of a wide variety of dance technique. There are 6 classes offered at this level; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop, Lyrical and Pointe. All classes are 1 hour. See misc for more offerings!
Elite 16+ years old
This level if for the more serious dancer and focuses on advanced dance terminology, challenging performance choreography, and a strong foundation of a wide variety of dance technique. There are 6 classes offered at this level; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, HipHop, Lyrical and Pointe. All classes are 1 hour. See misc for more offerings!
Misc.-

HipHop/Acro- Have a blast doing a fun introduction to hiphop while also learning basic tumbling.

Kickline- A "Rockette" style kickline is offered to all dancers who take ballet and tap, the kickline choreography will be tap
​
Adult Tap- A very popular class! Offered just for adults 18+, dance moms and no experience welcome!
